Born in the former Soviet Union, he came to this country at the age of ten. Even at such a young age, he wanted to be a Paramedic and help people. And since 1990, he has been working in EMS, currently as a Paramedic with Twin City Ambulance. A sports enthusiast, he enjoys soccer, hockey, fencing, skiing and scuba diving. He brings extensive experience to the position, first entering the EMS field as a Navy Corpsman for four years. Gary then continued in EMS as an Advanced EMT in both a career and volunteer capacity with the Lancaster Ambulance Corps outside of Buffalo, NY. Gary also has over ten years experience as a volunteer Fireman. Currently, he works with NYC Emergency Medical Services.
